Multiple Teams · Titan Bowling Season Preview


With the momentum of a 4-year undefeated streak and 7 straight conference championships, the Traverse City West girls bowling team is ready to take on all comers as they work their way into the 2018 season.

The Titans are led by 3-time All-Conference and Dream Team member Abigail Rickert (junior) and 2-time All-Conference and Dream Teamer Noelle Phillips (sophomore). Fellow All-Conference members Paige Phillips (junior), Bella Canfield (junior), Anna Jarvis (senior) and Dalani Flees (senior) will contribute to a squad determined to keep their undefeated streak alive and capture an 8th straight championship.

Also returning, seniors Maddie Ross and Amelia Kolbusz will make their marks this season. Juniors Anna Lowran, Allie Decker and Hope Adams make this one of the deepest Titan team in years.

The Titans open their 2017-18 season defending their BNC Conference Tournament title in Gaylord on Dec. 2.

A youth movement has begun for the Traverse City West boys bowling team with 10 of 13 roster spots belonging to freshman or sophomores. This Titan team is determined to capture the conference title after a 3-year hiatus.

Leading the team this season is 2-time All-Conference member Tristin Sattler (senior) along with juniors Jack Lowran and Cain Keenan. Also returning this year for the Titans are sophomores Jameson Schrotenboer, Miguel Alarcon, Ryan Michalski, Dustin Ripley and Cole Fall.

Making a strong contribution to the team this year will be transfer sophomore Weston Nowicki (Glen Lake) along with freshman Blade Kalbfleisch, Kalen Klingelsmith, Billy Thomas and Mark Wedra.
