Wrestling takes 3rd at Big Rapids Team Tournament

Wrestlers went 4-1 in Big Rapids beating Grand Rapids West Catholic 60-10, Elk Rapids 58-10, Hastings 39-39 on criteria, Muskegon Orchard View 53-15 but lost to Sparta 29-42. Undefeated Wrestlers included; Damien Ballan at 112, Hunter Derry at 125, Wylie Edick at 140, Jacob Ransom at 189 and Zac Masiewicz at 285 all went 5-0.

Christian Julian Voted Athlete of the Week!

Congratulations to Christian Julian; Student Senate voted him West Athlete of the Week!  Julian led the Titan Hockey team to a BNC win vs. Gaylord and skated well last Saturday vs. Northville.  We wish the Hockey team all the best this season.

Dalton Michael Named NSCAA All-American

The awards keep coming for West’s Dalton Michael. The forward was recently named Michigan’s Mr. Soccer for the 2016 season. Yesterday, he was named an All-American by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America. After a shaky start, the Lady Titans found their form in the second half.  They generated 9 points in the fourth quarter to finish with victory, 28-21.
