Baseball Tops Bobcats To Advance

West baseball advanced to the MHSAA Super Regional with a win last night over Grand Blanc High School.  Sam DeKuiper and Andy Soma led the way on the mound for the Titans while River Moore and Sam Reynolds provided some timely hits.  West jumped out to a 2-0 lead and broke the game open with

West Baseball earned a hard fought MHSAA Disrict Title today winning in extra innings vs. TC Central.  Senior Nick Beeman had the game winning hit with runners on 2nd and 3rd in the extra frame to make the difference.  West will play on Wednesday in the Regional round with the site & opponent TBD.  Good

Titan Baseball Defeats TCSF

West baseball ended the regular season with a 3-1 win over Traverse City St. Francis yesterday behind the pitching of Sam DeKuiper, Andy Soma and Sam Reynolds.  The Titans will play in game two of the District tournament tomorrow at TC Central.  The host Trojans will play Alpena at 10 am, with the second game

West Baseball Faces TCSF Today

Titan Baseball will make-up Tuesday’s canceled game with the Glads today at WSH– 4 pm start.  Teams will play one game today as a tune-up for MHSAA District action this weekend.

Varsity Baseball vs. TCSF Cancelled Today

The scheduled doubleheader between West & St Francis has been canceled today.  No reschedule date has been set.  Good luck to both teams in the upcoming MHSAA District Tournament.

Baseball and Softball Sweep Gaylord

Varsity Baseball and Softball traveled to Gaylord Tuesday afternoon with both teams coming away with two wins.  The victories keep Softball in 2nd place while Baseball sits in a tie for 3rd place in Big North Conference play.  On the JV side the girls were able to sweep the Blue Devils in Softball while the

The Wildcats bested West yesterday sweeping baseball and softball at all levels.  Varsity baseball lost 10-0 & 5-0 while Varsity softball dropped two close games 6-4 & 5-4.  All teams will try to get back on the field tomorrow vs. Benzie with Varsity scheduled to travel and JV hosting.  Weather does not look particularly helpful
