Titan Basketball advanced to the MHSAA district final with a 44-31 win over Petoskey last night.  The Girls shrugged off a slow start and some cold shooting with a second half flurry that saw them overcome a 7 point deficit.   Pressure seemed to be the difference with the Northmen committing costly turnovers as West picked

Girls Hoops Advance in District Play

Titan Girls Basketball came away with a 53-32 win last night over Gaylord High School.  The win puts West in the second round of the tournament, hosting Petoskey Wednesday night with a 7 pm tip.  MHSAA tickets are $6 dollars, doors open at 6 pm and no passes or ID’s will be accepted. Good luck

Girls Basketball Sweeps Gaylord

Titan girls basketball ended the regular season on a high note taking games at all 3 levels over the visiting Blue Devils last night.  The win cements a 2nd place BNC finish for the Girls and an overall regular season record of 11 wins & 9 losses (6-3 in the BNC).  West heads to Gaylord

West Girls Basketball lost a tight Varsity contest with 1st place Cadillac on Saturday afternoon falling to the Vikings 57-54.  Despite the loss there is plenty to play for as the  season winds down; good luck to the girls tomorrow night as they head to Ludington.  Those game times have changed slightly— we will play

Titan Girls Basketball lost a non-conference road game last night in Bay City falling to the Warriors 54-45.  West returns to the court tomorrow hosting the Alpena Wildcats in BNC action; freshmen and JV games begin at 5:30 with Varsity to follow.
