West girls basketball defeated Gaylord High School last night in MHSAA district action! The 51-47 win advances the Titans to Wednesday’s semifinal vs. TC Central. West girls varsity basketball ended their regular season with a BNC road win last night defeating Petoskey; the freshmen team also picked up a win. West girls basketball lost both games last night vs. Midland High School. The Junior Varsity dropped a close one 44-40; Mia Hisem & Ainslee Hewitt led the way with 8 points each. The Varsity contest ended 63-37; Makada Hisem scored 14 points on senior night. All three levels finish the regular season on Thursday
West girls basketball had a nice win on Friday vs. the TC Central Trojans and will now gear up for a busy week. The Titans host Midland HS on Tuesday (JV & Varsity only) and will travel to Petoskey on Thursday for their last games of the regular season. MHSAA district seeding is complete and

Titan hoops hung in there through three quarters but eventually lost to Grand Rapids West Catholic 46-35 on Saturday. Megan Lautner had an awesome game scoring 16 points and collecting 9 rebounds; Aliah Diehl chipped in with 9 points. Good luck to the girls on Friday when they host Petoskey.
