Titan Alpine opened the season hosting a Big North Conference race at Crystal Mountain today.  The boys finished in first place led by Aiden Lewandowski who won both giant slalom and slalom.  On the slalom side, Luke Wiersema was 7th and Andy Hill 10th. West downhill ski wrapped up the BNC season at Caberfae yesterday; both the boys and girls teams finished second in the standings.  Please see all conference finishers and final results in the link below       LINK: 2020 BNC All Conference & Final Standings     

West boys finished in 2nd place yesterday at Cannonsburg with Aiden Lewandowski leading the way for the Titans.  The girls finished 4th overall with Ava Warren qualifying for the state meet as an individual.  Please see details from yesterday’s races below. West student senate named Ava Warren and Aiden Lewandowski athletes of the week for their performance at the Peppi Town Slalom race! TC West finished 2nd today (boys and girls) on tough snow conditions at Schuss. Boys placed 4 skiers in the top 10 in giant slalom – Luke Wiersema 3rd, Aiden Lewandowski 5th, Remy Schulz 6th and Andy Hill 8th.  Boys had a few mental errors in the afternoon slalom but had strong showings by Andy

Senior Ava Warren and Sophomore Aiden Lewandowski came through wet and sloppy conditions Friday to finish at the top of the podium!  Congratulations to all the area skiers that competed at Hickory Hills and good luck to Titan Alpine tomorrow as they head to Schuss for a BNC meet.  

Area ski fans will have a local venue this Friday as Hickory Hills hosts the Peppi Town Slalom! Festivities begin at 4:45 with the race starting at 5pm. The event features teams from West, Central  and Great North Alpine, a TCSF & Elk Rapids co-op; it is always a fun night with young skiers and fans
